Our Equipment

We have a range of equipment to assist us in our day-to-day activities consisting of;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically evaluated elevating work platforms (EWP) is specifically designed for close approach tree cutting (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Tree upkeep and elimination in the metropolitan environment needs operators to constantly work around overhead electrical facilities and with our specialised devices we conduct this work in the safest possible way. To further guarantee the safe functioning of our devices, electrical testing of all EWP is conducted on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP satisfy the requirements of Australian Standard AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Equipment

All EWP are equipped with insulated electrically evaluated hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks specifically designed for close approach tree cutting, (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Ride On Mowers

With our fleet of ride on lawn mowers, our team makes performing your grounds maintenance easy, fast and safe. All our ride on lawn mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions and so on

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide higher efficiency and improved safety in getting rid of trees.

With their capacity to lift large loads and for that reason decreasing our teams’ exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is mounted on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

All tip trucks have function built canopies designed to safely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst allowing air flow and decreasing dust causing air pollution. We have a variety of tip trucks that vary from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to perform any task big or little.

5. Root Cutter

In a constantly developing metropolitan environment root barriers have become a crucial strategy in preserving the consistency of trees and infrastructure.

The Hills Landscaping root cutter is specially designed to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst nicely cutting roots to allow the setup of root barrier.

6. Wood Chippers

We have a variety of wood chippers that vary from 225mm to 500mm capacity.

All our wood chippers are fitted with the current safety functions and satisfy the requirements of Australian Design Standards. As an added safety function, we guarantee that a choice of our wood chippers are fitted with winches to reduce manual handling injuries.
