We have accredited dogmen, crane and elevated work platform operators to get rid of big trees in hard positions. All tree waste is processed into multiple-use leaf mulch utilizing our fleet of wood chippers.

Our variety of stump grinders| means we can easily get rid of big hard stumps from websites with limited access. We also have root cutters and personnel experienced with the setup of root barriers.

We have a range of equipment to assist us in our daily activities including;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically tested elevating work platforms (EWP) is specifically developed for close approach tree trimming (CATT) around live electrical infrastructure.

Tree maintenance and elimination in the metropolitan environment needs operators to continually work around overhead electrical infrastructure and with our specialised devices we conduct this work in the best possible method. To further guarantee the safe performance of our devices, electrical testing of all EWP is performed on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP meet the requirements of Australian Standard AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Devices

All EWP are geared up with insulated electrically tested hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks specifically developed for close approach tree trimming, (CATT) around live electrical infrastructure.

Ride On Lawn mowers

With our fleet of ride on mowers, our team makes carrying out your grounds maintenance easy, quick and safe. All our ride on mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions and so on

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide greater effectiveness and enhanced safety in getting rid of trees.

With their capacity to raise big loads and for that reason reducing our teams’ direct exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is mounted on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and collect leaf mulch in a safe way that reduces any pollution.

All tip trucks have function built canopies developed to securely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst permitting air flow and reducing dust causing air pollution. We have a variety of tip trucks that vary from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to carry out any job big or small.

5. Root Cutter

In a constantly developing city environment root barriers have become a crucial method in maintaining the consistency of trees and infrastructure.

The Hills Landscaping root cutter is specifically developed to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst neatly cutting roots to allow the setup of root barrier.

6. Wood Chippers

We have a variety of wood chippers that vary from 225mm to 500mm capacity.

All our wood chippers are fitted with the latest safety features and meet the requirements of Australian Design Standards. As an added safety feature, we guarantee that a selection of our wood chippers are fitted with winches to lower manual handling injuries.
