Our certified and experienced arborists together with our fleet of specialized plant and equipment will prune or eliminate your tree/s in accordance with Australian Basic AS 4373-2007 Pruning Amenity Trees, Workcover Tree Work Code of Practice and WorkCover Work Near Overhead Powerlines Code of Practice.

We have licensed dogmen, crane and elevated work platform operators to eliminate big trees in difficult positions. All tree waste is processed into multiple-use leaf mulch using our fleet of wood chippers.

Our series of stump grinders| means we can easily eliminate big difficult stumps from sites with minimal access. We also have root cutters and personnel experienced with the setup of root barriers.

Our Equipment

We have a variety of equipment to assist us in our day-to-day activities including;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically evaluated elevating work platforms (EWP) is particularly developed for close approach tree trimming (CATT) around live electrical infrastructure.

Tree upkeep and elimination in the urban environment needs operators to continually work around overhead electrical infrastructure and with our specialised equipment we perform this work in the best possible way. To further guarantee the safe functioning of our equipment, electrical testing of all EWP is carried out on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP satisfy the requirements of Australian Basic AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Equipment

All EWP are geared up with insulated electrically evaluated hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks particularly developed for close approach tree trimming, (CATT) around live electrical infrastructure.

Ride On Mowers

With our fleet of ride on lawn mowers, our team makes performing your grounds maintenance simple, quick and safe. All our ride on lawn mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions and so on

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide higher effectiveness and enhanced safety in removing trees.

With their capacity to lift big loads and therefore decreasing our teams’ direct exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is mounted on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and collect leaf mulch in a safe manner in which reduces any contamination.

All tip trucks have purpose constructed canopies developed to securely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst permitting airflow and decreasing dust causing air pollution. We have a variety of tip trucks that range from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to carry out any task big or small.

5. Root Cutter
