We have a series of equipment to assist us in our daily activities consisting of;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically evaluated elevating work platforms (EWP) is particularly designed for close approach tree cutting (CATT) around live electrical infrastructure.

Tree upkeep and removal in the urban environment needs operators to constantly work around overhead electrical infrastructure and with our specialised devices we conduct this work in the safest possible way. To further guarantee the safe performance of our devices, electrical testing of all EWP is carried out on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP fulfill the requirements of Australian Standard AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Devices

All EWP are geared up with insulated electrically evaluated hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks particularly designed for close approach tree cutting, (CATT) around live electrical infrastructure.

Ride On Lawn mowers

With our fleet of ride on mowers, our team makes carrying out your grounds maintenance easy, fast and safe. All our ride on mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions etc.

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide higher performance and enhanced safety in eliminating trees.

With their capacity to lift large loads and for that reason decreasing our teams’ direct exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is installed on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and gather leaf mulch in a safe manner in which reduces any pollution.

All tip trucks have purpose constructed canopies designed to securely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst permitting airflow and decreasing dust causing air pollution. We have a range of tip trucks that range from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to perform any job big or little.

5. Root Cutter

In a constantly developing city environment root barriers have become an important technique in maintaining the harmony of trees and infrastructure.

The Hills Landscaping root cutter is specially designed to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst neatly cutting roots to allow the installation of root barrier.

6. Wood Chippers

We have a range of wood chippers that range from 225mm to 500mm capacity.

All our wood chippers are fitted with the most recent safety functions and fulfill the requirements of Australian Design Standards. As an added safety feature, we guarantee that a choice of our wood chippers are fitted with winches to lower manual handling injuries.
