We have certified dogmen, crane and elevated work platform operators to get rid of large trees in tough positions. All tree waste is processed into multiple-use leaf mulch using our fleet of wood chippers.

Our range of stump grinders| means we can quickly get rid of large tough stumps from websites with minimal access. We also have root cutters and personnel experienced with the installation of root barriers.

We have a series of equipment to help us in our day-to-day activities including;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically evaluated elevating work platforms (EWP) is specifically created for close approach tree cutting (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Tree upkeep and elimination in the urban environment requires operators to continuously work around overhead electrical facilities and with our specialised devices we perform this work in the best possible method. To further guarantee the safe performance of our devices, electrical testing of all EWP is conducted on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP meet the requirements of Australian Basic AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Devices

All EWP are geared up with insulated electrically evaluated hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks specifically created for close approach tree cutting, (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Ride On Mowers

With our fleet of ride on lawn mowers, our team makes performing your grounds maintenance simple, quick and safe. All our ride on lawn mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions and so on

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide higher efficiency and enhanced safety in removing trees.

With their capability to raise large loads and therefore minimizing our teams’ exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is installed on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and collect leaf mulch in a safe manner in which minimises any pollution.

All tip trucks have purpose constructed canopies created to securely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst enabling airflow and minimizing dust causing air pollution. We have a variety of tip trucks that vary from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to perform any job big or small.

5. Root Cutter

In a constantly developing metropolitan environment root barriers have ended up being an important strategy in preserving the harmony of trees and infrastructure.

The Hills Landscaping root cutter is specifically created to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst neatly cutting roots to permit the installation of root barrier.

6. Wood Chippers
