Our qualified and experienced arborists together with our fleet of specialized plant and equipment will prune or remove your tree/s in accordance with Australian Basic AS 4373-2007 Pruning Amenity Trees, Workcover Tree Work Code of Practice and WorkCover Work Near Overhead Powerlines Code of Practice.

We have licensed dogmen, crane and elevated work platform operators to eliminate big trees in hard positions. All tree waste is processed into reusable leaf mulch using our fleet of wood chippers.

Our range of stump grinders| means we can easily eliminate big hard stumps from sites with minimal access. We also have root cutters and personnel experienced with the installation of root barriers.

Our Devices

We have a series of equipment to help us in our day-to-day activities including;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically tested elevating work platforms (EWP) is particularly created for close approach tree cutting (CATT) around live electrical infrastructure.

Tree maintenance and elimination in the urban environment needs operators to continually work around overhead electrical infrastructure and with our specialised devices we perform this work in the best possible method. To further ensure the safe performance of our devices, electrical testing of all EWP is conducted on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP fulfill the requirements of Australian Basic AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Devices

All EWP are equipped with insulated electrically tested hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks particularly created for close approach tree cutting, (CATT) around live electrical infrastructure.

Ride On Mowers

With our fleet of ride on lawn mowers, our team makes performing your grounds maintenance simple, fast and safe. All our ride on lawn mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions and so on

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide higher effectiveness and enhanced safety in getting rid of trees.

With their capability to raise big loads and for that reason minimizing our teams’ direct exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is mounted on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and collect leaf mulch in a safe way that minimises any contamination.

All tip trucks have purpose constructed canopies created to securely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst allowing airflow and minimizing dust causing air pollution. We have a variety of tip trucks that range from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to carry out any job big or small.

5. Root Cutter

In a constantly developing city environment root barriers have ended up being a crucial strategy in preserving the harmony of trees and infrastructure.

The Hills Landscaping root cutter is specifically created to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst neatly cutting roots to enable the installation of root barrier.

6. Wood Chippers

We have a variety of wood chippers that range from 225mm to 500mm capability.
