Our certified and experienced arborists together with our fleet of specialized plant and equipment will prune or remove your tree/s in accordance with Australian Standard AS 4373-2007 Pruning Amenity Trees, Workcover Tree Work Code of Practice and WorkCover Work Near Overhead Powerlines Code of Practice.

We have licensed dogmen, crane and elevated work platform operators to remove big trees in difficult positions. All tree waste is processed into reusable leaf mulch utilizing our fleet of wood chippers.

Our variety of stump grinders| means we can quickly remove big difficult stumps from sites with minimal access. We likewise have root cutters and personnel experienced with the setup of root barriers.

Hills Landscaping has developed strategic alliances with several consulting arborists throughout our service area for the benefit of our clients.

Our Equipment

We have a series of equipment to assist us in our day-to-day activities consisting of;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically evaluated elevating work platforms (EWP) is specifically created for close approach tree trimming (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Tree maintenance and elimination in the urban environment needs operators to constantly work around overhead electrical facilities and with our specialised devices we conduct this work in the safest possible method. To further ensure the safe performance of our devices, electrical testing of all EWP is conducted on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP satisfy the requirements of Australian Standard AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Equipment

All EWP are equipped with insulated electrically evaluated hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks specifically created for close approach tree trimming, (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Ride On Lawn mowers

With our fleet of ride on mowers, our team makes performing your grounds maintenance simple, quick and safe. All our ride on mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions and so on

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide greater performance and improved safety in eliminating trees.

With their capability to lift big loads and for that reason decreasing our teams’ exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is installed on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

All tip trucks have purpose constructed canopies created to securely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst enabling airflow and decreasing dust causing air pollution. We have a variety of tip trucks that range from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to perform any task big or small.

5. Root Cutter

In a continuously developing city environment root barriers have ended up being a crucial method in maintaining the harmony of trees and infrastructure.

The Hills Landscaping root cutter is specifically created to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst nicely cutting roots to allow the setup of root barrier.

6. Wood Chippers
