We have licensed dogmen, crane and elevated work platform operators to eliminate big trees in tough positions. All tree waste is processed into recyclable leaf mulch utilizing our fleet of wood chippers.

Hills Landscaping has established tactical alliances with several consulting arborists throughout our service area for the benefit of our customers.

Our Equipment

We have a variety of equipment to assist us in our daily activities consisting of;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically tested elevating work platforms (EWP) is particularly developed for close approach tree cutting (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Tree upkeep and elimination in the metropolitan environment requires operators to continually work around overhead electrical facilities and with our specialised devices we perform this work in the safest possible method. To further make sure the safe functioning of our devices, electrical testing of all EWP is performed on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP satisfy the requirements of Australian Standard AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Equipment

All EWP are equipped with insulated electrically tested hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks particularly developed for close approach tree cutting, (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Ride On Mowers

With our fleet of ride on mowers, our team makes performing your grounds maintenance simple, quick and safe. All our ride on mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions and so on

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide higher effectiveness and improved safety in removing trees.

With their capacity to raise big loads and therefore minimizing our teams’ exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is installed on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and collect leaf mulch in a safe manner in which minimises any pollution.

All tip trucks have purpose built canopies developed to securely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst enabling airflow and minimizing dust triggering air pollution. We have a range of tip trucks that vary from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to carry out any job big or small.

5. Root Cutter

In a continuously developing urban environment root barriers have become an important strategy in preserving the consistency of trees and infrastructure.

The Hills Landscaping root cutter is specifically developed to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst neatly cutting roots to enable the setup of root barrier.

6. Wood Chippers

We have a range of wood chippers that vary from 225mm to 500mm capacity.

All our wood chippers are fitted with the latest safety functions and satisfy the requirements of Australian Design Standards. As an added safety function, we make sure that a selection of our wood chippers are fitted with winches to reduce manual handling injuries.
