We have accredited dogmen, crane and elevated work platform operators to get rid of large trees in hard positions. All tree waste is processed into reusable leaf mulch using our fleet of wood chippers.

We have a range of equipment to assist us in our daily activities including;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically tested elevating work platforms (EWP) is specifically designed for close approach tree cutting (CATT) around live electrical infrastructure.

Tree upkeep and elimination in the metropolitan environment needs operators to continually work around overhead electrical infrastructure and with our specialised devices we perform this work in the best possible way. To further ensure the safe functioning of our devices, electrical testing of all EWP is conducted on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP satisfy the requirements of Australian Basic AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Equipment

All EWP are geared up with insulated electrically tested hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks specifically designed for close approach tree cutting, (CATT) around live electrical infrastructure.

Ride On Lawn mowers

With our fleet of ride on mowers, our team makes performing your grounds maintenance easy, quick and safe. All our ride on mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions and so on

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide higher performance and enhanced safety in removing trees.

With their capability to lift large loads and therefore reducing our teams’ direct exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is installed on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and gather leaf mulch in a safe way that minimises any contamination.

All tip trucks have function developed canopies designed to safely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst permitting air flow and reducing dust causing air pollution. We have a variety of tip trucks that vary from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to carry out any job big or small.

5. Root Cutter

In a constantly developing metropolitan environment root barriers have ended up being an important technique in preserving the consistency of trees and infrastructure.
