We have certified dogmen, crane and elevated work platform operators to eliminate large trees in hard positions. All tree waste is processed into reusable leaf mulch using our fleet of wood chippers.

Our range of stump grinders| means we can quickly eliminate large hard stumps from sites with restricted access. We also have root cutters and personnel experienced with the installation of root barriers.

We have a series of equipment to help us in our daily activities including;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically checked elevating work platforms (EWP) is specifically created for close approach tree cutting (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Tree maintenance and elimination in the urban environment requires operators to continually work around overhead electrical facilities and with our specialised equipment we conduct this work in the best possible way. To further ensure the safe functioning of our equipment, electrical testing of all EWP is conducted on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP meet the requirements of Australian Standard AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Devices

All EWP are geared up with insulated electrically checked hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks specifically created for close approach tree cutting, (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Ride On Lawn mowers

With our fleet of ride on mowers, our team makes performing your grounds maintenance simple, fast and safe. All our ride on mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions and so on

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide greater effectiveness and improved safety in removing trees.

With their capability to lift large loads and for that reason lowering our teams’ direct exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is mounted on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and collect leaf mulch in a safe way that reduces any pollution.

All tip trucks have function developed canopies created to safely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst permitting air flow and lowering dust triggering air pollution. We have a variety of tip trucks that range from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to perform any job big or little.

5. Root Cutter

In a continuously developing city environment root barriers have ended up being an important method in preserving the consistency of trees and infrastructure.

The Hills Landscaping root cutter is specifically created to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst nicely cutting roots to permit the installation of root barrier.

6. Wood Chippers

We have a variety of wood chippers that range from 225mm to 500mm capability.
