Our certified and experienced arborists together with our fleet of specialized plant and equipment will prune or remove your tree/s in accordance with Australian Standard AS 4373-2007 Pruning Amenity Trees, Workcover Tree Work Code of Practice and WorkCover Work Near Overhead Powerlines Code of Practice.

We have accredited dogmen, crane and elevated work platform operators to eliminate large trees in challenging positions. All tree waste is processed into multiple-use leaf mulch utilizing our fleet of wood chippers.

Our variety of stump grinders| means we can easily eliminate large challenging stumps from websites with limited access. We also have root cutters and personnel experienced with the setup of root barriers.

Our Equipment

We have a series of equipment to help us in our everyday activities consisting of;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically tested elevating work platforms (EWP) is particularly created for close approach tree trimming (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Tree upkeep and elimination in the metropolitan environment needs operators to constantly work around overhead electrical facilities and with our specialised devices we conduct this work in the safest possible method. To further guarantee the safe functioning of our devices, electrical testing of all EWP is conducted on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP fulfill the requirements of Australian Standard AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Equipment

All EWP are equipped with insulated electrically tested hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks particularly created for close approach tree trimming, (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Ride On Lawn mowers

With our fleet of ride on lawn mowers, our team makes performing your grounds maintenance easy, quick and safe. All our ride on lawn mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions etc.

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide greater efficiency and enhanced safety in removing trees.

With their capability to lift large loads and for that reason decreasing our teams’ direct exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is mounted on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and collect leaf mulch in a safe way that minimises any pollution.

All tip trucks have function constructed canopies created to safely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst permitting airflow and decreasing dust triggering air pollution. We have a variety of tip trucks that vary from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to carry out any job big or small.

5. Root Cutter

In a constantly developing urban environment root barriers have become an essential technique in maintaining the consistency of trees and infrastructure.

The Hills Landscaping root cutter is specifically created to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst nicely cutting roots to permit the setup of root barrier.

6. Wood Chippers

We have a variety of wood chippers that vary from 225mm to 500mm capability.

All our wood chippers are fitted with the most recent safety features and fulfill the requirements of Australian Design Standards. As an included safety function, we guarantee that a selection of our wood chippers are fitted with winches to lower manual handling injuries.
