Matt Stephens :: Client Services Manager
Experience & Qualifications
Commencing his career in 2003 as an apprentice Horticulturalist with Canterbury Council Matt quickly
realised his passion for trees and moved to the tree crew. On completing Certificate III Horticulture
Matt studied Certificate IV Arboriculture which he completed in 2007. Having also completed Cert
IV in Workplace Training and Assessment Matt is currently studying his Diploma of Arboriculture
which he will complete in December 2010.
In 2008, Matt took a position as Tree Coordinator with Citywide giving him integral involvement in the
management of the City of Sydney Council Street Tree Maintenance Contract. Here Matt was able to hone
his management skills and gain a comprehensive understanding of local government tree management principles, techniques and practices as well as man management.
Matt joined Advanced Arbor Service as Client Service Manager responsible for managing client relationships, estimating and planning projects and supervising work crews and ensuring the company's high standards of safety, quality and customer service are maintained.
Currently, Matt is managing the needs of clients such as Sutherland Shire Council, Wollongong City Council, University of Wollongong, Integral Energy, RailCorp and many others in the Southern Sydney, Illawarra and Southern Highlands Region.
