We have a series of equipment to help us in our day-to-day activities including;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically evaluated elevating work platforms (EWP) is specifically developed for close approach tree trimming (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Tree maintenance and removal in the urban environment requires operators to continually work around overhead electrical facilities and with our specialised devices we perform this work in the safest possible way. To further make sure the safe functioning of our devices, electrical testing of all EWP is performed on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP fulfill the requirements of Australian Basic AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Devices

All EWP are geared up with insulated electrically evaluated hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks specifically developed for close approach tree trimming, (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Ride On Mowers

With our fleet of ride on mowers, our team makes carrying out your grounds maintenance easy, fast and safe. All our ride on mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions and so on

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide higher performance and enhanced safety in eliminating trees.

With their capacity to lift large loads and for that reason minimizing our teams’ exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is mounted on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and collect leaf mulch in a safe way that reduces any contamination.

All tip trucks have purpose built canopies developed to safely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst permitting airflow and minimizing dust causing air pollution. We have a range of tip trucks that vary from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to perform any job big or little.

5. Root Cutter

In a continuously developing urban environment root barriers have become an essential strategy in preserving the consistency of trees and infrastructure.

The Hills Landscaping root cutter is specially developed to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst neatly cutting roots to enable the installation of root barrier.

6. Wood Chippers

We have a range of wood chippers that vary from 225mm to 500mm capacity.

All our wood chippers are fitted with the current safety functions and fulfill the requirements of Australian Design Standards. As an added safety function, we make sure that a selection of our wood chippers are fitted with winches to reduce manual handling injuries.
