Our Equipment

We have a series of equipment to assist us in our day-to-day activities consisting of;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically tested elevating work platforms (EWP) is particularly developed for close approach tree cutting (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Tree maintenance and removal in the metropolitan environment requires operators to continually work around overhead electrical facilities and with our specialised equipment we perform this work in the best possible method. To further ensure the safe functioning of our equipment, electrical testing of all EWP is carried out on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP meet the requirements of Australian Basic AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Equipment

All EWP are equipped with insulated electrically tested hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks particularly developed for close approach tree cutting, (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Ride On Lawn mowers

With our fleet of ride on lawn mowers, our team makes performing your grounds maintenance easy, quick and safe. All our ride on lawn mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions and so on

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide greater performance and enhanced safety in removing trees.

With their capability to lift large loads and for that reason lowering our teams’ exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is installed on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and collect leaf mulch in a safe way that minimises any contamination.

All tip trucks have function developed canopies developed to securely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst permitting air flow and lowering dust triggering air pollution. We have a range of tip trucks that range from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to carry out any task big or little.

5. Root Cutter
