We have a range of equipment to assist us in our day-to-day activities consisting of;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically tested elevating work platforms (EWP) is particularly developed for close approach tree trimming (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Tree maintenance and removal in the urban environment needs operators to constantly work around overhead electrical facilities and with our specialised devices we perform this work in the safest possible way. To further guarantee the safe functioning of our devices, electrical testing of all EWP is conducted on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP meet the requirements of Australian Basic AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Equipment

All EWP are geared up with insulated electrically tested hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks particularly developed for close approach tree trimming, (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Ride On Mowers

With our fleet of ride on lawn mowers, our team makes performing your grounds maintenance easy, fast and safe. All our ride on lawn mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions and so on

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide higher performance and enhanced safety in removing trees.

With their capacity to raise large loads and therefore lowering our teams’ exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is installed on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and gather leaf mulch in a safe way that reduces any pollution.

All tip trucks have purpose constructed canopies developed to safely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst enabling air flow and lowering dust causing air pollution. We have a range of tip trucks that vary from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to perform any job big or little.

5. Root Cutter

In a continuously developing city environment root barriers have become an essential technique in preserving the harmony of trees and infrastructure.

The Hills Landscaping root cutter is specially developed to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst neatly cutting roots to allow the installation of root barrier.

6. Wood Chippers

We have a range of wood chippers that vary from 225mm to 500mm capacity.

All our wood chippers are fitted with the most recent safety functions and meet the requirements of Australian Design Standards. As an added safety feature, we guarantee that a selection of our wood chippers are fitted with winches to lower manual handling injuries.
