We have a range of equipment to help us in our day-to-day activities including;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically evaluated elevating work platforms (EWP) is particularly developed for close approach tree trimming (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Tree maintenance and removal in the urban environment requires operators to continually work around overhead electrical facilities and with our specialised devices we conduct this work in the safest possible method. To further guarantee the safe performance of our devices, electrical testing of all EWP is carried out on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP satisfy the requirements of Australian Basic AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Devices

All EWP are geared up with insulated electrically evaluated hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks particularly developed for close approach tree trimming, (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Ride On Mowers

With our fleet of ride on mowers, our team makes performing your grounds maintenance simple, quick and safe. All our ride on mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions etc.

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide greater effectiveness and enhanced safety in eliminating trees.

With their capacity to lift big loads and for that reason lowering our teams’ direct exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is installed on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and gather leaf mulch in a safe way that minimises any contamination.

All tip trucks have function constructed canopies developed to securely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst enabling airflow and lowering dust triggering air pollution. We have a variety of tip trucks that range from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to perform any task big or small.

5. Root Cutter

In a constantly developing metropolitan environment root barriers have become an essential method in protecting the harmony of trees and infrastructure.

The Hills Landscaping root cutter is specially developed to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst neatly cutting roots to permit the setup of root barrier.

6. Wood Chippers

We have a variety of wood chippers that range from 225mm to 500mm capacity.

All our wood chippers are fitted with the latest safety functions and satisfy the requirements of Australian Design Standards. As an added safety feature, we guarantee that a selection of our wood chippers are fitted with winches to minimize manual handling injuries.
