Our Equipment

We have a series of equipment to assist us in our day-to-day activities consisting of;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically evaluated elevating work platforms (EWP) is particularly designed for close approach tree trimming (CATT) around live electrical infrastructure.

Tree upkeep and elimination in the urban environment needs operators to continuously work around overhead electrical infrastructure and with our specialised devices we perform this work in the best possible method. To further ensure the safe functioning of our devices, electrical testing of all EWP is conducted on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP fulfill the requirements of Australian Basic AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Equipment

All EWP are equipped with insulated electrically evaluated hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks particularly designed for close approach tree trimming, (CATT) around live electrical infrastructure.

Ride On Lawn mowers

With our fleet of ride on lawn mowers, our team makes carrying out your grounds maintenance simple, quick and safe. All our ride on lawn mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions etc.

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide greater performance and improved safety in getting rid of trees.

With their capacity to raise big loads and for that reason minimizing our teams’ exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is mounted on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

5. Root Cutter
