We have a range of equipment to help us in our everyday activities including;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically checked elevating work platforms (EWP) is specifically designed for close approach tree cutting (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Tree maintenance and removal in the urban environment needs operators to continuously work around overhead electrical facilities and with our specialised devices we perform this work in the safest possible way. To further guarantee the safe functioning of our devices, electrical testing of all EWP is carried out on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP meet the requirements of Australian Basic AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Devices

All EWP are equipped with insulated electrically checked hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks specifically designed for close approach tree cutting, (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Ride On Lawn mowers

With our fleet of ride on lawn mowers, our team makes performing your grounds maintenance simple, fast and safe. All our ride on lawn mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions etc.

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide greater performance and enhanced safety in eliminating trees.

With their capacity to raise big loads and therefore lowering our teams’ direct exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is mounted on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and collect leaf mulch in a safe manner in which reduces any pollution.

All tip trucks have purpose developed canopies designed to securely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst allowing airflow and lowering dust triggering air pollution. We have a variety of tip trucks that range from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to perform any task big or little.

5. Root Cutter

In a constantly developing urban environment root barriers have become an essential strategy in preserving the harmony of trees and infrastructure.

The Hills Landscaping root cutter is specifically designed to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst nicely cutting roots to allow the setup of root barrier.

6. Wood Chippers

We have a variety of wood chippers that range from 225mm to 500mm capacity.

All our wood chippers are fitted with the most recent safety features and meet the requirements of Australian Design Standards. As an added safety feature, we guarantee that a selection of our wood chippers are fitted with winches to minimize manual handling injuries.
