We have a range of equipment to assist us in our daily activities consisting of;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically evaluated elevating work platforms (EWP) is specifically created for close approach tree trimming (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Tree upkeep and elimination in the urban environment requires operators to continually work around overhead electrical facilities and with our specialised devices we perform this work in the best possible way. To further guarantee the safe performance of our devices, electrical testing of all EWP is performed on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP satisfy the requirements of Australian Basic AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Devices

All EWP are geared up with insulated electrically evaluated hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks specifically created for close approach tree trimming, (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Ride On Mowers

With our fleet of ride on mowers, our team makes performing your grounds maintenance easy, fast and safe. All our ride on mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions etc.

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide higher effectiveness and improved safety in getting rid of trees.

With their capability to raise large loads and for that reason lowering our teams’ direct exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is installed on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and gather leaf mulch in a safe manner in which minimises any pollution.

All tip trucks have purpose developed canopies created to safely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst enabling air flow and lowering dust causing air pollution. We have a variety of tip trucks that range from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to perform any job big or small.

5. Root Cutter

In a constantly developing city environment root barriers have ended up being an important strategy in maintaining the harmony of trees and infrastructure.

The Hills Landscaping root cutter is specially created to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst nicely cutting roots to enable the setup of root barrier.

6. Wood Chippers
