We have certified dogmen, crane and elevated work platform operators to eliminate big trees in challenging positions. All tree waste is processed into multiple-use leaf mulch utilizing our fleet of wood chippers.

Our range of stump grinders| means we can quickly eliminate big challenging stumps from sites with minimal access. We also have root cutters and personnel experienced with the installation of root barriers.

Our Equipment

We have a variety of equipment to assist us in our daily activities consisting of;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically tested elevating work platforms (EWP) is particularly created for close approach tree trimming (CATT) around live electrical infrastructure.

Tree upkeep and removal in the metropolitan environment needs operators to constantly work around overhead electrical infrastructure and with our specialised equipment we perform this work in the safest possible method. To further ensure the safe functioning of our equipment, electrical testing of all EWP is carried out on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP meet the requirements of Australian Basic AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Equipment

All EWP are geared up with insulated electrically tested hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks particularly created for close approach tree trimming, (CATT) around live electrical infrastructure.

Ride On Lawn mowers

With our fleet of ride on mowers, our team makes performing your grounds maintenance simple, fast and safe. All our ride on mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions and so on

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide higher performance and improved safety in eliminating trees.

With their capacity to raise big loads and therefore reducing our teams’ direct exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is mounted on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and collect leaf mulch in a safe manner in which minimises any contamination.

All tip trucks have function built canopies created to safely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst permitting air flow and reducing dust causing air pollution. We have a range of tip trucks that range from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to carry out any task big or small.

5. Root Cutter

In a continuously developing urban environment root barriers have become an important strategy in maintaining the harmony of trees and infrastructure.

The Hills Landscaping root cutter is specially created to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst nicely cutting roots to permit the installation of root barrier.

6. Wood Chippers

We have a range of wood chippers that range from 225mm to 500mm capacity.

All our wood chippers are fitted with the current safety functions and meet the requirements of Australian Design Standards. As an added safety feature, we ensure that a choice of our wood chippers are fitted with winches to lower manual handling injuries.
