We have a variety of equipment to assist us in our everyday activities including;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically checked elevating work platforms (EWP) is particularly created for close approach tree cutting (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Tree upkeep and elimination in the urban environment needs operators to continually work around overhead electrical facilities and with our specialised equipment we perform this work in the safest possible method. To further ensure the safe performance of our equipment, electrical testing of all EWP is performed on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP meet the requirements of Australian Basic AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Devices

All EWP are equipped with insulated electrically checked hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks particularly created for close approach tree cutting, (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Ride On Mowers

With our fleet of ride on lawn mowers, our team makes performing your grounds maintenance simple, fast and safe. All our ride on lawn mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions etc.

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide greater efficiency and enhanced safety in getting rid of trees.

With their capacity to raise large loads and therefore lowering our teams’ exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is installed on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and gather leaf mulch in a safe manner in which minimises any contamination.

All tip trucks have purpose built canopies created to safely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst enabling air flow and lowering dust triggering air pollution. We have a variety of tip trucks that range from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to perform any job big or little.

5. Root Cutter

In a constantly developing metropolitan environment root barriers have ended up being a crucial strategy in protecting the consistency of trees and infrastructure.
