We have certified dogmen, crane and elevated work platform operators to get rid of big trees in hard positions. All tree waste is processed into multiple-use leaf mulch utilizing our fleet of wood chippers.

We have a range of equipment to help us in our day-to-day activities including;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically tested elevating work platforms (EWP) is particularly developed for close approach tree cutting (CATT) around live electrical infrastructure.

Tree maintenance and removal in the metropolitan environment needs operators to continually work around overhead electrical infrastructure and with our specialised equipment we conduct this work in the safest possible method. To further ensure the safe functioning of our equipment, electrical testing of all EWP is performed on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP fulfill the requirements of Australian Standard AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Devices

All EWP are geared up with insulated electrically tested hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks particularly developed for close approach tree cutting, (CATT) around live electrical infrastructure.

Ride On Lawn mowers

With our fleet of ride on lawn mowers, our team makes carrying out your grounds maintenance easy, fast and safe. All our ride on lawn mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions and so on

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide higher performance and enhanced safety in removing trees.

With their capacity to lift big loads and for that reason decreasing our teams’ exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is mounted on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and collect leaf mulch in a safe manner in which minimises any contamination.

All tip trucks have purpose developed canopies developed to safely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst permitting air flow and decreasing dust causing air pollution. We have a range of tip trucks that range from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to carry out any task big or little.

5. Root Cutter

In a continuously developing city environment root barriers have become a crucial method in maintaining the consistency of trees and infrastructure.

The Hills Landscaping root cutter is specifically developed to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst nicely cutting roots to permit the installation of root barrier.

6. Wood Chippers

We have a range of wood chippers that range from 225mm to 500mm capacity.

All our wood chippers are fitted with the latest safety features and fulfill the requirements of Australian Design Standards. As an added safety feature, we ensure that a choice of our wood chippers are fitted with winches to decrease manual handling injuries.
