Our certified and experienced arborists together with our fleet of specialized plant and equipment will prune or eliminate your tree/s in accordance with Australian Standard AS 4373-2007 Pruning Amenity Trees, Workcover Tree Work Code of Practice and WorkCover Work Near Overhead Powerlines Code of Practice.

We have accredited dogmen, crane and elevated work platform operators to eliminate large trees in hard positions. All tree waste is processed into recyclable leaf mulch using our fleet of wood chippers.

Our range of stump grinders| means we can easily eliminate large hard stumps from websites with restricted access. We also have root cutters and personnel experienced with the setup of root barriers.

We have a range of equipment to help us in our day-to-day activities consisting of;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically tested elevating work platforms (EWP) is specifically developed for close approach tree trimming (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Tree maintenance and removal in the urban environment needs operators to continually work around overhead electrical facilities and with our specialised devices we conduct this work in the safest possible method. To further make sure the safe performance of our devices, electrical testing of all EWP is performed on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP meet the requirements of Australian Standard AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Devices

All EWP are equipped with insulated electrically tested hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks specifically developed for close approach tree trimming, (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Ride On Mowers

With our fleet of ride on lawn mowers, our team makes carrying out your grounds maintenance simple, fast and safe. All our ride on lawn mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions and so on

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide higher efficiency and enhanced safety in removing trees.

With their capability to lift large loads and for that reason decreasing our teams’ direct exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is installed on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

All tip trucks have purpose developed canopies developed to securely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst permitting airflow and decreasing dust causing air pollution. We have a range of tip trucks that range from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to perform any task big or small.

5. Root Cutter

In a continuously developing urban environment root barriers have ended up being an important technique in maintaining the harmony of trees and infrastructure.

The Hills Landscaping root cutter is specially developed to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst nicely cutting roots to enable the setup of root barrier.

6. Wood Chippers

We have a range of wood chippers that range from 225mm to 500mm capability.
