We have licensed dogmen, crane and elevated work platform operators to eliminate big trees in challenging positions. All tree waste is processed into recyclable leaf mulch utilizing our fleet of wood chippers.

We have a range of equipment to assist us in our everyday activities consisting of;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically tested elevating work platforms (EWP) is particularly designed for close approach tree cutting (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Tree upkeep and removal in the metropolitan environment needs operators to constantly work around overhead electrical facilities and with our specialised devices we conduct this work in the best possible way. To further guarantee the safe performance of our devices, electrical testing of all EWP is performed on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP satisfy the requirements of Australian Standard AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Devices

All EWP are geared up with insulated electrically tested hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks particularly designed for close approach tree cutting, (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Ride On Lawn mowers

With our fleet of ride on mowers, our team makes carrying out your grounds maintenance simple, fast and safe. All our ride on mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions and so on

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide higher effectiveness and improved safety in removing trees.

With their capacity to raise big loads and for that reason minimizing our teams’ exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is installed on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and gather leaf mulch in a safe way that reduces any contamination.

All tip trucks have purpose built canopies designed to securely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst allowing airflow and minimizing dust causing air pollution. We have a range of tip trucks that range from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to perform any task big or small.

5. Root Cutter

In a constantly developing urban environment root barriers have become an essential technique in protecting the consistency of trees and infrastructure.

The Hills Landscaping root cutter is specifically designed to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst neatly cutting roots to enable the setup of root barrier.

6. Wood Chippers

We have a range of wood chippers that range from 225mm to 500mm capacity.

All our wood chippers are fitted with the most recent safety features and satisfy the requirements of Australian Design Standards. As an included safety feature, we guarantee that a selection of our wood chippers are fitted with winches to reduce manual handling injuries.
