We have a range of equipment to assist us in our day-to-day activities including;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically checked elevating work platforms (EWP) is specifically developed for close approach tree trimming (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Tree maintenance and removal in the metropolitan environment requires operators to continually work around overhead electrical facilities and with our specialised devices we conduct this work in the best possible way. To further guarantee the safe performance of our devices, electrical testing of all EWP is performed on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP meet the requirements of Australian Basic AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Devices

All EWP are geared up with insulated electrically checked hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks specifically developed for close approach tree trimming, (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Ride On Lawn mowers

With our fleet of ride on lawn mowers, our team makes performing your grounds maintenance easy, fast and safe. All our ride on lawn mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions etc.

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide greater efficiency and enhanced safety in getting rid of trees.

With their capacity to lift large loads and therefore reducing our teams’ exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is installed on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and collect leaf mulch in a safe manner in which reduces any pollution.

All tip trucks have purpose constructed canopies developed to securely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst permitting airflow and reducing dust causing air pollution. We have a range of tip trucks that range from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to perform any job big or small.

5. Root Cutter

In a continuously developing city environment root barriers have ended up being an important method in protecting the harmony of trees and infrastructure.

6. Wood Chippers
