We have a series of equipment to assist us in our everyday activities consisting of;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically evaluated elevating work platforms (EWP) is specifically designed for close approach tree trimming (CATT) around live electrical infrastructure.

Tree maintenance and removal in the urban environment needs operators to continuously work around overhead electrical infrastructure and with our specialised devices we conduct this work in the best possible method. To further guarantee the safe functioning of our devices, electrical testing of all EWP is conducted on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP satisfy the requirements of Australian Basic AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Devices

All EWP are geared up with insulated electrically evaluated hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks specifically designed for close approach tree trimming, (CATT) around live electrical infrastructure.

Ride On Mowers

With our fleet of ride on lawn mowers, our team makes carrying out your grounds maintenance simple, quick and safe. All our ride on lawn mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions etc.

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide greater performance and improved safety in getting rid of trees.

With their capability to raise big loads and therefore reducing our teams’ exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is mounted on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and collect leaf mulch in a safe manner in which reduces any pollution.

All tip trucks have function constructed canopies designed to safely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst permitting air flow and reducing dust causing air pollution. We have a range of tip trucks that range from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to carry out any job big or little.

5. Root Cutter

In a constantly developing city environment root barriers have become an important method in protecting the harmony of trees and infrastructure.

The Hills Landscaping root cutter is specially designed to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst nicely cutting roots to permit the installation of root barrier.

6. Wood Chippers

We have a range of wood chippers that range from 225mm to 500mm capability.

All our wood chippers are fitted with the most recent safety features and satisfy the requirements of Australian Design Standards. As an included safety feature, we guarantee that a selection of our wood chippers are fitted with winches to lower manual handling injuries.
