We have a range of equipment to help us in our daily activities including;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically tested elevating work platforms (EWP) is particularly designed for close approach tree trimming (CATT) around live electrical infrastructure.

Tree upkeep and elimination in the metropolitan environment requires operators to continually work around overhead electrical infrastructure and with our specialised equipment we perform this work in the safest possible method. To further make sure the safe functioning of our equipment, electrical testing of all EWP is carried out on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP satisfy the requirements of Australian Basic AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Devices

All EWP are equipped with insulated electrically tested hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks particularly designed for close approach tree trimming, (CATT) around live electrical infrastructure.

Ride On Mowers

With our fleet of ride on mowers, our team makes performing your grounds maintenance simple, fast and safe. All our ride on mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions etc.

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide higher effectiveness and enhanced safety in eliminating trees.

With their capacity to lift big loads and therefore decreasing our teams’ exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is installed on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and collect leaf mulch in a safe way that reduces any pollution.

All tip trucks have function developed canopies designed to safely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst enabling air flow and decreasing dust triggering air pollution. We have a variety of tip trucks that range from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to carry out any task big or small.

5. Root Cutter

In a continuously developing metropolitan environment root barriers have become a crucial technique in preserving the harmony of trees and infrastructure.

The Hills Landscaping root cutter is specifically designed to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst neatly cutting roots to allow the installation of root barrier.

6. Wood Chippers

We have a variety of wood chippers that range from 225mm to 500mm capacity.

All our wood chippers are fitted with the latest safety functions and satisfy the requirements of Australian Design Standards. As an added safety function, we make sure that a selection of our wood chippers are fitted with winches to reduce manual handling injuries.
