Our Equipment

We have a series of equipment to help us in our day-to-day activities consisting of;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically evaluated elevating work platforms (EWP) is particularly developed for close approach tree trimming (CATT) around live electrical infrastructure.

Tree maintenance and elimination in the urban environment needs operators to continually work around overhead electrical infrastructure and with our specialised devices we perform this work in the safest possible way. To further ensure the safe functioning of our devices, electrical testing of all EWP is conducted on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP satisfy the requirements of Australian Standard AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Equipment

All EWP are geared up with insulated electrically evaluated hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks particularly developed for close approach tree trimming, (CATT) around live electrical infrastructure.

Ride On Mowers

With our fleet of ride on lawn mowers, our team makes performing your grounds maintenance easy, quick and safe. All our ride on lawn mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions and so on

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide greater efficiency and enhanced safety in getting rid of trees.

With their capacity to raise big loads and therefore minimizing our teams’ direct exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is mounted on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and gather leaf mulch in a safe manner in which minimises any contamination.

All tip trucks have purpose constructed canopies developed to securely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst enabling airflow and minimizing dust causing air pollution. We have a range of tip trucks that range from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to carry out any job big or small.

5. Root Cutter

In a continuously developing metropolitan environment root barriers have ended up being a crucial strategy in protecting the harmony of trees and infrastructure.

The Hills Landscaping root cutter is specifically developed to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst neatly cutting roots to allow the installation of root barrier.

6. Wood Chippers
