We have certified dogmen, crane and elevated work platform operators to get rid of big trees in tough positions. All tree waste is processed into recyclable leaf mulch using our fleet of wood chippers.

Our series of stump grinders| means we can quickly get rid of big tough stumps from sites with minimal access. We also have root cutters and personnel experienced with the installation of root barriers.

Our Equipment

We have a variety of equipment to help us in our day-to-day activities including;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically tested elevating work platforms (EWP) is specifically created for close approach tree trimming (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Tree upkeep and elimination in the metropolitan environment needs operators to continually work around overhead electrical facilities and with our specialised equipment we conduct this work in the best possible method. To further ensure the safe performance of our equipment, electrical testing of all EWP is carried out on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP fulfill the requirements of Australian Basic AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Equipment

All EWP are equipped with insulated electrically tested hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks specifically created for close approach tree trimming, (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Ride On Lawn mowers

With our fleet of ride on mowers, our team makes performing your grounds maintenance easy, quick and safe. All our ride on mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions and so on

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide greater effectiveness and improved safety in eliminating trees.

With their capacity to lift big loads and for that reason decreasing our teams’ exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is mounted on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

5. Root Cutter

The Hills Landscaping root cutter is specially created to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst neatly cutting roots to enable the installation of root barrier.

6. Wood Chippers
