We have a series of equipment to help us in our daily activities consisting of;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically checked elevating work platforms (EWP) is particularly developed for close approach tree trimming (CATT) around live electrical infrastructure.

Tree upkeep and elimination in the urban environment needs operators to constantly work around overhead electrical infrastructure and with our specialised devices we perform this work in the best possible way. To further make sure the safe functioning of our devices, electrical testing of all EWP is performed on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP satisfy the requirements of Australian Standard AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Devices

All EWP are equipped with insulated electrically checked hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks particularly developed for close approach tree trimming, (CATT) around live electrical infrastructure.

Ride On Mowers

With our fleet of ride on mowers, our team makes carrying out your grounds maintenance easy, fast and safe. All our ride on mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions and so on

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide greater efficiency and improved safety in eliminating trees.

With their capacity to raise large loads and therefore decreasing our teams’ exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is installed on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and collect leaf mulch in a safe way that minimises any contamination.

All tip trucks have function built canopies developed to securely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst allowing air flow and decreasing dust triggering air pollution. We have a range of tip trucks that range from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to carry out any task big or small.

5. Root Cutter

In a continuously developing urban environment root barriers have become an important strategy in preserving the consistency of trees and infrastructure.

The Hills Landscaping root cutter is specially developed to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst nicely cutting roots to allow the installation of root barrier.

6. Wood Chippers

We have a range of wood chippers that range from 225mm to 500mm capacity.

All our wood chippers are fitted with the latest safety features and satisfy the requirements of Australian Design Standards. As an included safety function, we make sure that a selection of our wood chippers are fitted with winches to reduce manual handling injuries.
