Our Devices

We have a series of equipment to help us in our daily activities consisting of;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically tested elevating work platforms (EWP) is particularly developed for close approach tree cutting (CATT) around live electrical infrastructure.

Tree upkeep and elimination in the metropolitan environment needs operators to continuously work around overhead electrical infrastructure and with our specialised devices we conduct this work in the best possible way. To further make sure the safe performance of our devices, electrical testing of all EWP is carried out on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP fulfill the requirements of Australian Basic AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Devices

All EWP are geared up with insulated electrically tested hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks particularly developed for close approach tree cutting, (CATT) around live electrical infrastructure.

Ride On Lawn mowers

With our fleet of ride on mowers, our team makes performing your grounds maintenance easy, quick and safe. All our ride on mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions etc.

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide greater effectiveness and improved safety in getting rid of trees.

With their capability to raise big loads and therefore minimizing our teams’ direct exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is mounted on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and collect leaf mulch in a safe way that minimises any contamination.

All tip trucks have function built canopies developed to safely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst allowing air flow and minimizing dust causing air pollution. We have a range of tip trucks that vary from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to carry out any job big or small.

5. Root Cutter

In a continuously developing city environment root barriers have ended up being an essential strategy in protecting the consistency of trees and infrastructure.

The Hills Landscaping root cutter is specially developed to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst nicely cutting roots to allow the installation of root barrier.

6. Wood Chippers

We have a range of wood chippers that vary from 225mm to 500mm capability.
