We have accredited dogmen, crane and elevated work platform operators to remove big trees in difficult positions. All tree waste is processed into recyclable leaf mulch utilizing our fleet of wood chippers.

Our range of stump grinders| means we can quickly remove big difficult stumps from sites with minimal access. We also have root cutters and personnel experienced with the installation of root barriers.

Our Equipment

We have a series of equipment to assist us in our daily activities including;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically tested elevating work platforms (EWP) is specifically designed for close approach tree trimming (CATT) around live electrical infrastructure.

Tree upkeep and removal in the metropolitan environment requires operators to constantly work around overhead electrical infrastructure and with our specialised equipment we conduct this work in the safest possible method. To further guarantee the safe performance of our equipment, electrical testing of all EWP is performed on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP satisfy the requirements of Australian Basic AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Equipment

All EWP are geared up with insulated electrically tested hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks specifically designed for close approach tree trimming, (CATT) around live electrical infrastructure.

Ride On Lawn mowers

With our fleet of ride on mowers, our team makes performing your grounds maintenance simple, fast and safe. All our ride on mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions and so on

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide greater performance and improved safety in eliminating trees.

With their capability to lift big loads and therefore decreasing our teams’ direct exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is mounted on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and collect leaf mulch in a safe way that minimises any contamination.

All tip trucks have function developed canopies designed to securely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst allowing air flow and decreasing dust triggering air pollution. We have a range of tip trucks that range from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to perform any job big or small.

5. Root Cutter

In a constantly developing metropolitan environment root barriers have become a crucial method in maintaining the consistency of trees and infrastructure.

The Hills Landscaping root cutter is specially designed to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst nicely cutting roots to permit the installation of root barrier.

6. Wood Chippers

We have a range of wood chippers that range from 225mm to 500mm capability.

All our wood chippers are fitted with the most recent safety features and satisfy the requirements of Australian Design Standards. As an included safety function, we guarantee that a choice of our wood chippers are fitted with winches to decrease manual handling injuries.
