We have a range of equipment to help us in our everyday activities including;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically tested elevating work platforms (EWP) is specifically designed for close approach tree cutting (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Tree maintenance and elimination in the metropolitan environment needs operators to continually work around overhead electrical facilities and with our specialised devices we conduct this work in the best possible method. To further guarantee the safe performance of our devices, electrical testing of all EWP is conducted on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP meet the requirements of Australian Standard AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Equipment

All EWP are equipped with insulated electrically tested hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks specifically designed for close approach tree cutting, (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Ride On Mowers

With our fleet of ride on lawn mowers, our team makes performing your grounds maintenance simple, fast and safe. All our ride on lawn mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions and so on

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide higher effectiveness and improved safety in getting rid of trees.

With their capacity to lift big loads and therefore lowering our teams’ direct exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is mounted on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and gather leaf mulch in a safe way that minimises any pollution.

All tip trucks have purpose constructed canopies designed to securely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst permitting air flow and lowering dust triggering air pollution. We have a variety of tip trucks that range from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to carry out any job big or small.

5. Root Cutter

In a constantly developing metropolitan environment root barriers have ended up being an important strategy in preserving the harmony of trees and infrastructure.

The Hills Landscaping root cutter is specially designed to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst neatly cutting roots to enable the setup of root barrier.

6. Wood Chippers

We have a variety of wood chippers that range from 225mm to 500mm capacity.

All our wood chippers are fitted with the latest safety features and meet the requirements of Australian Design Standards. As an included safety function, we guarantee that a selection of our wood chippers are fitted with winches to lower manual handling injuries.
