We have licensed dogmen, crane and elevated work platform operators to remove large trees in tough positions. All tree waste is processed into recyclable leaf mulch using our fleet of wood chippers.

Our range of stump grinders| means we can quickly remove large tough stumps from websites with limited access. We also have root cutters and personnel experienced with the installation of root barriers.

We have a variety of equipment to assist us in our daily activities consisting of;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically evaluated elevating work platforms (EWP) is specifically designed for close approach tree trimming (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Tree upkeep and removal in the metropolitan environment requires operators to continuously work around overhead electrical facilities and with our specialised devices we perform this work in the safest possible way. To further make sure the safe performance of our devices, electrical testing of all EWP is carried out on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP satisfy the requirements of Australian Standard AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Devices

All EWP are equipped with insulated electrically evaluated hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks specifically designed for close approach tree trimming, (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Ride On Mowers

With our fleet of ride on mowers, our team makes performing your grounds maintenance simple, quick and safe. All our ride on mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions and so on

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide higher effectiveness and improved safety in getting rid of trees.

With their capacity to lift large loads and for that reason lowering our teams’ exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is mounted on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and collect leaf mulch in a safe manner in which minimises any contamination.

All tip trucks have function developed canopies designed to securely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst permitting airflow and lowering dust triggering air pollution. We have a range of tip trucks that range from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to carry out any task big or little.

5. Root Cutter
